In participation of IPP, corporation shall review the participation decision expecting following expected effects.

• Stable securement of labor force
• Pre-evaluation of elite labor force
• Strategic usage of labor force
• Company advertisement through students sharing IPP experiences(Especially small enterprises)
• Reduction on employment cost(OJT cost reduction)

This process is to settle all required matters for future placement management by mutually regulating various matters according to placement institution’s and university’s situations

• Finalization on placement subject and operation period
• Matters regarding placement management and operation
• Matters regarding student support and safety measures

This step focuses on settling details required in operating long-term placements between institution-university to operate a placement that meets up to the institution’s goal of management and student’s field-centric education.

Agreement Means

It is a principle that the agreement be signed by the representative of the institution and the chairman of the university.

Job description of placement Institution must include the below information and must be written most specific for the placement institution, university and participating student.

• Training contents and scope
• Training period and time
• Major and number of subjects of placement
• Condition of eligibility of placement attendees(Academic grade, language, OA usage level, ability to use certain programs or tool.)
• Type of training( Whether employment connected or not)
• Supports from the placement institution( Training allowances, provision of transportation and food etc.)

• Interview and selection of student is done in free competition through IPP web site, and both corporation and student may chose a preferred corporation or student respectively.
• Based on the submitted job descriptions, a corporation must chose a student according to student’s resume and cover letter, reviewing them, and setting the order of importance.
• The corporation may chose whether to select candidates by examining papers or executing an interview.

OJT implementation

During the placement, job education will be done to increase the job capabilities of a student.

Placement guidance

• Approval on time card and monthly report: At the end of every month, teaching student’s time card and monthly report must be checked and approved on IPP web site(IPPOne)
• Check on job adaptability and difficulties: The teaching student’s company adaptability and difficulties must be checked and dealt with.

On the end of the placement, mentor will participate in survey regarding IPP participating student’s evaluation and overall management of the placement.

• Placement student evaluation: Job performance abilities, Job performance results, office regulations and human relationships, opinion on other trainees.
• Participating in survey of placement institution: used in future placement satisfaction and IPP system improvement.
